The Nicest Compliment That You've Ever Received

Today on Valentine's Day, think back to the loveliest compliments that you've ever had. It will remind you of your inherent value and specialness.
Here are some of mine:
  • "You have a good walk, not pigeon-toed or anything."
  • "You're hair color is the nicest color. Women pay for your color." Thank you Kill.
  • "All three of you look exactly the same from the back." (Elle, Mum and I)
  •  "Do you know that you have huge eyes? They're like a deer."
  • "You have a ski-jump nose, I wish I did too."
  • "I wanted to get you." A kid at camp who was in my cabin.
  • "You're a good eater and not picky."
  • "Wait, your parents are divorced?" My soccer coach, after coaching me for 2 years.
  • "*whistle sound*... nice legs."
  • "You're good at writing in cards." This compliment made me fiercely invested in card writing.
  • "My daughter told me to come meet you tonight (at Parent Teacher interviews) but she told me not to bother with anyone else." The parent of one of my secret faves and mildly eccentric students.
  • "You're like a piece of seaweed." This one was all about how the person said it.
  • "I wasn't sure about it at first, but you're a good driver." Thanks BB.
  • "I think that you're going to live longer than they say."
Now, some of these are more about appearance than personality but I like them anyhow. I know too that I've forgotten some good ones!
What are your favorite received compliments?

What no examples of compliments? I need to compliment you all because you might have low self esteem!!

I was once told that I have very nice feet, which as a man, is a tremendous compliment.

One of my all-time favorite compliments is a triple whammy of sorts… As a young girl you wrote a card to Grandma thanking her for being such a good Mummy to me, so I could be such a good Mummy to you and Elle. I wished I had thought to say that, but I loved the compliment to my wonderful Mom that also included me. These were the early days of an awesome card writer!

I know mum, you were the person who made me feel like a good card writer. I cherished that compliment like I was a "little speckled pup" (inside joke about Ophrah's favorite compliment.)
