From the Pacific to the Atlantic

Hello all,

We are in Halifax visiting Elle and her French farmer which is pretty heavenly. She made vegan banana cream pie and sugar free granola! Double yay :). She tells me that lobster poutine may be in my future.... I'm still figuring out how many fish exceptions I'll be making this trip.

Having never been to Atlantic Canada, I think that it's beautiful like BC but with more deciduous trees and heaps of lakes. I'm hitting my goals this summer, Kill and I drove to Vancouver Island to visit grandma Lavendar and mum's brothers, like uncle Yorgi. It was lovely. Kill met members of my clan that he hadn't seen before which pleased me greatly - it has been ages since I was nervous to have him like and be liked by my family! Porb, Kill and I also golfed 9 holes, okay, okay, I only walked. Pretty good, though, for a girl healing a broken back?

Well, it's dinner time in Halifax so may your end of August be great and expect some good east coast photos soon!

Love,

Cail
