I will gamely share this personal revelation with the internet, that sometimes, our medication has side effects and surprisingly, those side effects rarely make you better looking. The exception is Grandma Lavender's eye drops, which give her gorgeous eye lashes, that she trims because they get too long! Shocking, I know.
Anyhow, my estrogen therapy drugs keep me estrogen-free and so I'm experiencing the trickery of menopause. I realized this weekend that I had white fuzzy whiskers and no one told me! My first choice was professional waxing but I couldn't see anyone fast enough for my liking. Which led me to use.... Duct Tape. It totally worked and didn't rip my skin. Take 2 inches of tape, stick it to your face, rub on, hold skin tight and rip off. However, my hair was really, really fine so maybe that's why it worked.
This next bit of information isn't as valuable, but this morning I got up without crutches!!! I've been using them for a month and a half since my L2 vertebrae "resettled", rather painfully. It was a glorious moment and a real coup, in my opinion.
Have a fantastic Monday and fill out the poll "my secret beauty routine focuses on...". It's on the right of the blog main page :).

I laughed out loud at your detailed instructions! What kind of eye drops are you talking about? I think I need those!
I honestly didn't notice them until you pointed them out. Sort of sad that they're gone, they were stunningly luxurious. I'm thinking our next foray to the cabin should involve our men. What do you think? Xo
As a chin hair sprouter myself, I can understand the "0h no,no one told me " response...however living with another sprouter I can also honestly say that they are really hard to see unless you are in just the right light. I have a deal with Gma and AP to let them know if any are showing ..I'll add you to that list.
Good solution tho it'll come in handy for those camping situations where there's nothing else around and you want to look good for the wild life ( in the city you can always try a cream ,like Nair, painless and does the job
Congrats on walking crutchless you must feel so free!
What fab comments! Grandma Lavender uses Latisse (like Brooke Shields). I thought about getting some for myself but Elle reminded me that it's for eye pressure issues and that I don't have glaucoma. Darn Elle and her nursely logic.
p.s. please tell me if I have whiskers!
It reminds me of when you were 4 and wanted me to tell you if you had a "'stache" from the snow on the ski hill. I haven't seen any fuzz but will keep an eye out. I tried that duct tape last night and it didn't work for me, so you know yours were baby fine. Hope your back is recovering from the spasm.
