Are you feeling self concious? You are not alone.

This week one of my aunties sent me a fantastic message telling me that she loves me and that she thinks of me often. She also said that she feels so shy writing to me because I'm a teacher and she thinks that her spelling isn't very good. What she doesn't realize is that I feel exactly like that every time that I blog!

I think, oh shoot if I spell poorly maybe I'll get kicked out of the teacher club (although, I only taught french, social and foods so the bar isn't set that high.) I think, we all worry that we're not good enough compared to other people but we are. This auntie is a woman who let Elle and I make monster bread (food coloring, yay) and can make anything useful out of pantyhose. I'd say that she's unique and fabulous... actually, all of my aunties are. This week, tell yourself how great you are and remind yourself what you love about you. If you can't think of anything then message me and I'll get the ball rolling.

Here are some things I've admired in my own peeps:
  • good cook/good baker (Elle)
  • brave (Mrs. Foot and so many others)
  • kind (grandma Lavender)
  • embraces their own weirdness (dad and JC)
  • knows when someone needs help (Tricia)
  • gets along with everyone (Posie and Sensei)
  • polite (Bert)
  • plant whisperer (mum)
  • knows how to iron (please teach me)
  • special flair for style (Grandma Sanka and Briton)
  • anyone who can read body language
  • makes changes when needed (Kill)
  • doesn't complain (Porb)
  • active everyday (BB and Papa Kill)
  • delightful assertiveness (Joute and Mrs. Big)
  • people who can fix appliances/cars/etc..
What do you most admire in others? I bet that's easier than telling me what you admire in yourself :)

Kamouy has many qualifies I admire. He is never mean but aways honest! That is a high level skill!
I can't spell either but I'm good with languages: go figure!
PS: someone in Malaga is reading your blog!

Whoa, how cool is that? Malaga is in Spain...maybe UK?

I'm so glad you commented, well done!

UK,
I just figured out the Renaud/Workum conundrum and I'm glad that you're reading. Polite honesty is a great gift, especially for managers :), I agree!
